Abstract

This research aims to reconstruct the economic thought of Imam Abu Hanifah and analyze its actualization within the context of contemporary Islamic economics. As a trade practitioner, Abu Hanifah developed muamalah concepts that emphasize legal certainty and the protection of individual rights. The research method employed is library research with a descriptive-analytical approach. The results indicate that the reconstruction of Abu Hanifah's thought focuses on refining the salam contract through detailed product specifications, requirements for market availability, and protecting economically vulnerable parties in muzara'ah contracts. In the contemporary context, these thoughts are extensively actualized in electronic commerce (e-commerce) systems. The standardization of product descriptions, warranty systems, and price transparency on digital platforms are manifestations of Abu Hanifah's ijtihad in eliminating uncertainty (gharar) and ensuring transactional justice in the modern era.
