PENGUATAN IDENTITAS ASWAJA PADA SISWA MADRASAH ALIYAH MA NU HASAN MUNADI BANGLE BEJI PASURUAN

Abstrak

Ahlussunnah Wal Jama’ah (Aswaja) is an Islamic teaching guided by the tradition of the Prophet Muhammad SAW and the early generations of Muslims. Aswaja values include tawassuth (moderation), i’tidal (justice), tasamuh (tolerance), tawazun (balance), amar ma’ruf nahi munkar (enjoining good and forbidding evil), and patriotism. This study aims to describe the strengthening of Aswaja identity among students at MA NU Hasan Munadi Banggle Beji Pasuruan through learning and habituation. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with field research. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman framework. The findings reveal that Aswaja values are internalized through classroom learning as well as religious, social, cultural, and national activities. These activities include reciting Asmaul Husna, congregational Duha prayer, Quranic recitation, singing Yalal Wathan, utilizing Krama Java language, tahlilan, salawatan, pilgrimage to scholars' tombs, and commemorating Islamic and national holidays. Consistent habituation effectively reinforces students' character to be religious, moderate, tolerant, virtuous, responsible, and patriotic.
