Abstract

Seeing the condition of the students, there are still many who cannot read the yellow book or understand Arabic text, so they need to be equipped with procedures for reading the yellow book such as Nahwu and Sharaf. Providing Nahwu and Sharaf material is the main key to fixing problems related to weaknesses in understanding Arabic texts.  Nahwu Sharaf is an intermediary to easily read the yellow book and also makes it easier for Darul Hijrah Artodung students to interact and understand the contents of the Koran or the Hadith of the Prophet SAW, which are the life guidelines for Muslims. This assistance is specifically to improve the quality of reading the yellow book by learning and understanding the basics of an easy way to read the yellow book, known as Nahwu and Sharaf, so that they can practice correctly reading the yellow book. This can stimulate students to deepen the practice of reading the Yellow Book correctly and, more importantly, help students understand easily and be able to apply the values ​​contained in these classical treasure books in carrying out their religious or social life.
