The case of the Savings and Loans Cooperative (KSP) Indosurya emerged as one of the largest financial scandals in Indonesia, resulting in losses of up to IDR 106 trillion and affecting thousands of depositors. The core issue in this case lies in violations of both cooperative principles and Islamic business ethics, such as the practices of riba (interest), gharar (uncertainty), and maysir (gambling). This study aims to analyze the application of Islamic business ethics principles in the operations of KSP Indosurya and to reveal the ethical violations that occurred. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study and descriptive analysis approach. The findings show that KSP Indosurya failed to uphold transparency, justice, and trustworthiness, and misused members’ funds for personal gain. These practices contradict Islamic principles, which emphasize honesty, responsibility, and communal welfare. This research is a scholarly article that seeks to provide insight into the importance of applying Islamic business ethics in cooperative operations to establish a fair and sustainable economic.
