Abstrak

This study delves into the Quran and Book Reading and Writing Guidance (BTQ) program implemented at Miftahul Ulum Girls' Islamic Boarding School in Pagendingan, Galis, Pamekasan. BTQ is a commonly used method to facilitate students in understanding, reading, and writing religious texts, particularly the Quran and sacred Islamic texts. The research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the BTQ program in enhancing the competencies of students in reading and writing religious texts.This research employs a qualitative approach, incorporating interviews, observations, and document analysis to gather data from the students at Miftahul Ulum Girls' Islamic Boarding School. The results of the study reveal that the BTQ program has a positive impact on strengthening the students' skills in reading and writing religious texts. Students engaged in this program experience significant improvements in their understanding, pronunciation, and ability to write religious texts, particularly the Quran.Furthermore, this research identifies key factors contributing to the success of the BTQ program, including the role of experienced instructors, a structured curriculum, and a supportive learning environment. Recommendations are provided to expand the implementation of the BTQ program in Islamic boarding schools as an effort to enrich students' understanding and skills in reading and writing religious texts.
