Abstract : The sustainability crisis of the academic workforce in higher education, characterized by high stress levels, burnout, and uneven academic rank distribution, requires a more ethical and meaningful leadership approach. This study aims to identify Qur'anic leadership values relevant to academic governance, operationalize them into measurable indicators, and analyze their relationship with academic workforce sustainability. Utilizing a qualitative library research design, this study analyzed 125 systematically selected sources. Analysis was conducted using a literature synthesis matrix, Qur'anic thematic analysis guidelines, and documented search protocols. The findings identify five core values—amanah, 'adalah, syura, uswah hasanah, and maslahah—which can be operationalized into 17 dimensions and 52 measurable indicators. A consistent relationship was found between the operationalization of these values and faculty retention, job satisfaction, and psychological well-being. This study concludes that integrating Qur'anic values into academic governance offers a comprehensive and operational ethical framework that bridges Islamic scholarly tradition with contemporary ethical leadership theory
