This study aims to examine the influence of splinter group beliefs, particularly the Lembaga Dakwah Islam Indonesia (LDII), on Islamic life in the Tambun Nabolon Subdistrict, Pematangsiantar City. The research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, employing in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis. The findings reveal that LDII adopts a belief system and religious practices that significantly differ from mainstream Islam, such as the use of the manqul method and an exclusive leadership structure. These differences affect the religious orientation of local residents, leading to parallel worship patterns and complex social dynamics. Although there is ritual segregation and divergent theological perspectives, social cohesion remains intact through community solidarity, the role of religious leaders, and conflict resolution mechanisms based on dialogue. The study concludes that the presence of splinter groups presents challenges to Muslim communities, but these can be addressed constructively through inclusive and educational approaches to maintain social stability and religious orthodoxy.
